Reward StrategyI work as a team leader for a sales team in Manchester and my bosses and I had to have a meeting the other day to discuss the
Reward Strategy for my team. Traditionally, my team have always received a percentage of the profits as their
Reward Strategy but my bosses have decided that they want to look at things in a fresh light. At first I was slightly concerned about this as I wondered why they wanted to change the
Reward Strategy that works so well at present and wondered if it was my management of the team that they weren`t very happy with. After musing this question out loud, I was extremely relieved to find out that this was not the case at all. Instead, they merely wanted to see if they could raise the team`s performances even further by giving extra enticements to the team. Some of these extra benefits sounded fantastic and after the meeting I was sure that my staff would do their utmost to attain them. As predicted, as soon as I talked to my team about these extra rewards they could not wait to try to make even more sales than before and I am really confident that we will make even more profit.
